Hi! I’m Kate the Celebrant. I love my job. I love how every couple I work with is completely unique, and it makes me very happy to help them plan the perfect ceremony.

Here’s a list of my favourite things:

• People. I love finding out what makes folks tick, and when it comes to weddings, one size never fits all. Getting to know you better is how I get to create a ceremony that feels just right.

• Words. Words are amazing little things that help us convey so much emotion, which is why finding the right ones, in the right order is really important. Luckily for me, I’ve got a 20 year career spent finding exactly the right words under my belt, and I bring all that experience to writing your ceremony.

• Weddings. Specifically the weddings that are a celebration of two people and the life that they want to live together. Weddings that aren’t about following the latest trends or being as lavish as possible, but are about love, joy and celebration. Where the guests feel happy and relaxed, and no-one wants the day to end.

  But enough about me. What about you? Whether you’re planning a huge festival-style wedding in a tipi, or an intimate woodland elopement, I love to work with couples who ae planning their big day in line with their values. What services do you provide?

Wedding Ceremonies, Elopement Ceremonies and Micro-Weddings, Renewal of Vows, Scriptwriting.

How much does it cost to hire your services?

Local mid-week ceremonies start at £550 + travel. Weekend ceremonies start at £600 + travel.

Do you cater for LGBTQ+ Weddings?

I’m here to celebrate your love whatever your gender or sexuality. I ask your pronouns and I use them correctly. I don’t assume anyone’s gender or sexuality and believe in marriage equality for all.

Do you cater for multi-faith Weddings?

My ceremonies are non-religious, but that doesn’t mean that your faith, culture, religion or spirituality can’t be included. For couples who come from different faith backgrounds, a celebrant-led wedding can be a great way to weave together different elements of tradition, or create new ones.

What makes you stand out from the competition?

I don’t believe in competition. There are some lovely celebs in North Wales, and I have the pleasure of calling a few of them pals. I think it’s super important for couples to speak to a few celebrants in the planning stage. You’ll find one you just click with, that makes you feel relaxed and is someone you look forward to working with…And I’m crossing my fingers that person is me.
