Hi! We're Amy and Omid

We're a husband-wife photography team located in Bethesda, Gwynedd (North Wales). We got married in 2011 and acquired a camera shortly after, so naturally, we instantly fancied ourselves as experts, both at weddings and photography*.

*It did take us a few years of hard work, challenges, love and attention, mistakes, and a bit more hard work to get good at this. But we've now been shooting weddings together since 2014 and have loved every one. I mean, how can you not love doing what we do? Every couple has a story and we document it.

We've been married for over 10 years and adore our life here in Eryri (Snowdonia National Park). Omid is a country boy from the Llyn Peninsula and Amy was born in East London. Oh, and we also happen to have a soft spot for our three little boys (as well as each other).

Full day:

How would you describe your photography style?

We've worked together for years to master our storytelling approach, creating images that are bold, warm, vibrant and natural, capturing the unique personality of each of our couples. We love the landscape and coast, the ancient buildings and walls, the industrial history - so we use it in our work. See for yourself.

We like to think of ourselves as documentary photographers, first and foremost. Our approach is relaxed - most couples we work with tell us they prefer reportage style photography and want the majority of their photo set to reflect that, with less focus on formal group photos and more focus on simply capturing the day as it unfolds naturally.

BUT, we know how to be flexible and treat each couple uniquely, striking a balance: Hate posing? No worries, we'll keep it to a minimum and just let the two of you be. Need more direction? Done, we'll help direct your pose.
