About Sara Vieno Photography

Heyyyy! I am Sara, a wedding and family photographer based in Cheshire, North Wales and surrounding counties. (I currently live in Cheshire but I left my heart in North Wales after studying at Bangor then living on Anglesey for a number of years).

Photography is my passion and I absolutely adore capturing special, unforgettable moments between couples in love and their family and friends. I particularly love taking epic photos with gorgeous backdrops - something which we have in abundance in North Wales. I love the outdoors (I used to live for kayaking and climbing pre-kids!) and will always be up for a hike out to a view point during your engagement shoot.

For your wedding, I am all about capturing the STORY of your day. I want you to look back in years to come and be able to relive the emotions of your day. Weddings are a huge investment of time and money and one of the only opportunities of our lives to dress like a princess and have all our our family and friends party with us. So, when the day is done I want to make sure you can re-live these moments and I'll go the extra mile to make sure you have all the images of things happening that you might have forgotten or missed on the day!

I love getting to know the people I work with and I really believe this makes my photos better and more personal too, and you will be so much more comfortable in front of the lens. For this reason I always recommend an engagement photoshoot before your wedding in a beautiful, romantic, outdoor location. Couples often use the photos in announcements, invites or guestbooks and when we meet again for your wedding it will be like seeing an old friend! I particularly enjoy watching the wedding day unfold naturally and noticing special moments as they happen. I will work with you and your bridal party to make sure you don’t feel like you have to pose too much, yet still get the most stunning photographs to remember your day by. Brides also find it useful that I am someone else who knows the plan of the day and can help to make sure things run smoothly – so that everyone can just relax and enjoy the celebrations. I send out several detailed pre-wedding questionnaires so that we have every detail planned - possibly even things you hadn't thought of - and this minimises any stress so you can just 'bride-chilla' (or 'groom-chilla') in the lead up to your wedding.
