Whatever your dreams might be, our dedicated and experienced event producers will ensure that it is planned with the greatest care and hosted with love. Our unique selling point is that we can accommodate up to 60 people staying on site in an exclusive setting – you can make your celebration something so much more than those few hours of a party!
Our Wedding Barn is licensed for civic wedding and partnership ceremonies and can seat up to 120 people. It can be decorated to your tastes and filled with flowers. The wedding celebration can move from there to a number of beautiful locations around the site – down to the beach bar, on top of the cliffs, on the lawns or in a hired circus tent. Dream on!
For the meal and party you can hire additional structures such as yurts, tee-pees or marquees. Please see our recommended suppliers list.
Bach Wen is owned and run by a group of friends: feasting, celebration and the food we eat at these special times is a very important part of the ethos of Bach Wen. We are committed to sourcing delicious and nutritious ingredients from the locality of North West Wales and the Llyn Peninsula and working with local suppliers and producers wherever possible. Some of these suppliers will produce organically; some will farm following permaculture philosophy; some may be prize winning retailers; some may grow some of the tastiest vegetables you’ve ever eaten.

What is the cost of hiring your venue?

As we are a holiday destination unfortunately we can’t have events taking place when other guests are on site. Therefore exclusive use of the site and all accommodation must be hired for at least a 3 day weekend.
The Site and Venue: The basic hire for exclusive use of the whole site which includes the use of the barn/bar and and any ground rent for marquees etc for 3 days is £4,000 inc VAT.
The Accommodation: Accommodation costs vary throughout the year but here is rough estimate of pricing in 2024.
These prices are for exclusive use of the site including the pods and camping:
Low Season Weekend £4,500
High Season Weekend £6,000
Low Season Week £6,500
High Season Week £9,000
Summer Holiday Week £12,000
There is a sliding scale across the rest of the year to work around your budget. During the summer school holidays we require that the whole site is booked for a full week.
Our clients tend to split some of these costs with their guests as they would normally have to find somewhere to stay for at least 1 or two nights anyway. Even in the high season this works out at about £110 per person for a 3 night weekend or £170 per person per week for an exclusive seaside resort with a private access to a beach and bar.
The Event: As mentioned previously, we will design or assist with the actual event and catering etc in a truly bespoke way. Therefore we have no set prices and are more than happy to work to what ever your budget will allow.
