5 Things to remember when choosing your…
Wedding Photographer

Photos
The quality and style of photos is incredibly important. You may have come across a photographer online and enjoy their work. It’s a good idea to ask to see all of their images and not just the ones they’ve posted online. Every photographer is different - make sure that you choose a photographer whose photos can say something about both of you as a couple.
Cost
A common determining factor of booking a photographer is the cost. You should be able to discuss clearly with your photographer about your budget and what you can get for your money. Photographers can offer a variety of packages to suit a number of different price points, and are sometimes flexible with what they can offer. You should also ask for the price of any extras.
Experience
Always ask your photographer if they have worked at your venue before. If they have, then that’s great - they will know the best photo locations and angles already. If they haven’t, then suggest a meeting at the venue to discuss ideas and to allow the photographer to explore the venue prior to the wedding day.
Personality
At the end of the day, you are booking a photographer to take photos that you’ll look back on for years to come. Try to set up a few meetings with your photographer prior to the wedding - You want to be able to feel comfortable in front of the camera. The ability to be comfortable in front of the camera (and the person behind it) will be reflected in your photos.
Recommendations
Did a photo from a friend’s wedding catch your eye? Ask them about their photographer - a lot of wedding photography work is achieved through word of mouth and the recommendations of others. You can use reviews to influence your decision, but remember that the final choice is yours to make.
